🛒 In this article, we'll take you behind the scenes of our online arbitrage business and show you how we prepare, pack, and send out our inventory to Amazon FBA. As co-founders of The 3 Co., we've been doing online arbitrage for about a year, with the past six months being our main focus.

🗂️ We handle everything in-house, from creating listings to printing labels, preparing products, packing them in boxes, and sending them off to Amazon. We don't employ anyone to do this work, and we're not using any prep centers either. It's a hands-on process, but it allows us to maintain control and ensure everything is done to Amazon's strict requirements.

🧰 Let's start by going through all the materials we use for this process. We have a variety of poly bags in different sizes, packing tape, labels, a scale to weigh our boxes, a pack plus sealing machine to seal the poly bags, and a label writer for things like expiry date labels. We also refer to the prep requirements on Amazon's Seller Central to make sure we're meeting all the necessary guidelines.

🧹 Once we've created the shipments in Amazon and printed the FN SKU labels, we start the prep and packing process. This involves carefully placing the products in the appropriate poly bags, adding any required warning labels, and ensuring the items are securely packed to prevent damage during shipping. We try to group similar items together to maintain the weight distribution in the boxes.

🚚 After all the products are prepped and packed, we seal the boxes and schedule a UPS pickup. This is a weekly process for us, and as we continue to scale the business, we may start exploring the use of prep centers to handle the increased volume. But for now, we're proud to do it all in-house and maintain full control over the quality and efficiency of our operations.
